Additionalrainfall of 3 to 6 inches is expected across the Piedmont andfoothills. Many locations have alreadyreceived 3 to 5 inches of rain today, with isolated locationsreceiving up to 6 inches. As this next round of rainfall begins,flash flooding will begin shortly across the warned area.HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urbanareas, highways, streets and underpasses as well asother poor drainage and low-lying areas.* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...Greenwood, Laurens, Abbeville, Clinton, Fountain Inn, Honea Path,Ware Shoals, Calhoun Falls, Ninety Six, Joanna, Due West, GrayCourt, Lake Secession, Cross Hill, Donalds, Cokesbury, Waterloo,Hodges, Lowndesville and Troy.Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Prepare for limited winddamage.- ACT: Move to safe shelter before the wind becomes hazardous.- POTENTIAL IMPACTS: Limited- Damage to porches, awnings, carports, sheds, and unanchoredmobile homes.
