Very strong, gusty southeasterly winds will develop on Thursday afternoon and continue into the evening. To the south of the low, from about midnight Thursday to early Friday, there will also be a period of intense westerly winds. Winds will diminish through the day on Friday as the low moves away from the region.###Gusty winds can damage soft shelters, tents and awnings at outdoor events.
