In southwest Florida, Coastal CollierCounty, Inland Collier County and Mainland Monroe.* WHEN...Through Friday evening.* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers arepossible.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- Rainfall amounts of 6 to 12 inches with isolated amounts upto 18 inches have fallen over South Florida since Tuesdaymorning. Flood Warning issued June 12 at 8:25PM EDT until June 13 at 8:00AM EDT by NWS Miami FL* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.* WHERE...A portion of southeast Florida, including the followingcounties, Broward and Miami-Dade.* WHEN...Until 800 AM EDT Thursday.* IMPACTS...Several structures are flooded. Numerous roads remainclosed due to flooding. Expect many areas of slow moving orstanding water. It will take several hours for all the water fromthese storms to work through local drainage systems in urbanareas. Local media and emergency management have reported waterrescues.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 824 PM EDT, emergency management reported flooding in thewarned area due to heavy rainfall from thunderstorms. Between5 and 13 inches of rain have fallen.- Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible inthe warned area.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Miami, Hialeah, Fort Lauderdale, Pembroke Pines, Hollywood,Miramar, Pompano Beach, Davie, Miami Beach, Plantation,Sunrise, Tamarac, Margate, Coral Gables, Key Biscayne, SouthMiami, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Surfside, Miami Gardens andHallandale.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/floodTurn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
