Isolated damage to trees, powerlines, signs, andoutbuildings is expected, along with isolated power outages. Looseoutdoor objects will be blown around. Areas of blowing dust mayreduce visibilities. Strong winds and rough waves on area lakeswill create hazardous conditions for small craft.Secure or bring inside loose outdoor objects before the high windsbegin. During the high winds, avoid being outside in forested areasor around trees, branches, and powerlines. Use caution if you mustdrive, and keep both hands firmly on the steering wheel. Drivers ofhigh profile vehicles should consider delaying travel until the highwinds subside. Boaters on area lakes should use extra caution sincestrong winds and rough waves can overturn small craft.
