InSoutheast Kansas, Allen, Chautauqua, Labette, Montgomery, Neosho,Wilson and Woodson.* WHEN...Until 1215 PM CDT Sunday.* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lyingand flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-watercrossings are inundated with water and may not be passable.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 1207 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due tothunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to beginshortly in the warned area. Between 2 and 6 inches of rainhave fallen.- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible inthe warned area.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Independence, Chanute, Iola, Neodesha, Fredonia, Cherryvale,Caney, Humboldt, Yates Center, Sedan, La Harpe, Gas, Moran,Thayer, Altoona, Elk City, Buffalo, Tyro, Neosho Falls andPeru.Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades.
