Coastal Flood Advisory issued September 23 at 2:43AM EDT until September 25 at 4:00AM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level in lowlying areas due to tidal flooding.* WHERE...Shoreline in Charles and King George Counties.* WHEN...Until 4 AM EDT Wednesday, especially around the time ofhigh tide.* IMPACTS...At 3.5 feet, water reaches yards near Cobb Islandand docks near Dahlgren.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two to two and a half feet abovenormal. The next high tide at Goose Bay is at 8:51 AM and 9:07PM. The next high tide at Dahlgren is at 7:36 AM and 8:09 PM.The next high tide at Indian Head is at 12:45 PM and 1:01 AM.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
