Air Quality Alert issued June 20 at 11:16AM EDT by NWS Detroit/Pontiac MIThe Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy hasdeclared an Air Quality Advisory for Friday, June 21st for elevatedlevels of ozone. Pollutants are expected to be in the Unhealthy forSensitive Groups range.The advisory is in effect for the following Michigan counties...St. Clair...Livingston...Oakland...Macomb...Washtenaw...Wayne andMonroe.It is recommended that, when possible, you avoid strenuous outdooractivities, especially those with respiratory diseases such asasthma. People and businesses are urged to avoid activities which canlead to ozone formation.
