There is a potentialof additional heavy rainfall expected this evening. The FloodWarning remains into Tuesday morning.* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.* WHERE...A portion of south central Minnesota, including thefollowing counties, Le Sueur, Rice, Steele and Waseca.* WHEN...Until 1000 AM CDT Tuesday.* IMPACTS...Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Low-watercrossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. Itwill take several hours for all the water from these storms towork through local drainage systems in urban areas.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 107 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported ongoingflooding across the warned area.- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall isexpected.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Owatonna, Faribault, Waseca, Waterville, Medford, Morristown,Elysian, Warsaw, Nerstrand, Lemond, Clinton Falls, Merton,Moland, Hope, Kilkenny, Deerfield, Owatonna Airport,Faribault Airport, Sakatah Lake State Park and Ruskin.Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
