Flood Warning issued May 16 at 9:08AM EDT until May 16 at 12:15PM EDT by NWS Boston/Norton MA* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.* WHERE...Portions of southeastern Massachusetts, including thefollowing counties, Bristol and Plymouth and Rhode Island,including the following counties, Bristol, Kent, Newport,Providence and Washington.* WHEN...Until 1215 PM EDT.* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lyingand flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Some roadsremain closed due to flooding. Streams and rivers continue to risedue to excess runoff from rainfall. Low-water crossings areinundated with water and may not be passable.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 906 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gaugesindicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms.
