Red Flag Warning issued June 9 at 12:42PM MDT until June 10 at 8:00PM MDT by NWS Riverton WY * AFFECTED AREA: In Central WY...Fire Weather Zone 280. * COUNTIES AFFECTED: In Central WY...Natrona. * IMPACTS: Low Humidities and Strong Gusty Winds could cause erratic fire behavior. * WIND: West 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 50 to 60 mph. * HUMIDITY: As low as 11 percent. * ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Conditions are expected to improve around sunset Tuesday evening as humidity improves with fair overnight humidity recovery and wind decreases. Critical fire weather conditions are again expected by late Wednesday morning. A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now....or will shortly.
