Flood Watch issued June 22 at 10:31AM CDT until June 22 at 10:00PM CDT by NWS Quad Cities IA IL* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to bepossible.* WHERE...Portions of northwest Illinois, including the followingcounties, Jo Daviess and Stephenson and Iowa, including thefollowing counties, Benton, Buchanan, Delaware, Dubuque, Jackson,Jones and Linn.* WHEN...Until 10 PM CDT this evening.* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- Thunderstorms will develop in the tropical atmosphere thisafternoon and slowly move across the area. The possibilityexists that storms may repeat over the same areas producingexcessive rainfall through this evening. Most of the houses on the river side of theEast Dubuque levee are in water.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 10:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 14.6 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stageearly Monday morning and continue rising to 19.8 feetSaturday, June 29. Additional rises are possible thereafter.- Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
