The floodplain can beas wide as 0.25 mile wide in places.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 8:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 15.1 feet.- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hoursending at 8:00 PM CDT Thursday was 15.1 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.1feet early Saturday afternoon.- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/floodTurn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
