Storms will beredeveloping this afternoon, with the heaviest rainfall expectedlater this evening to early Saturday morning. Inwest central Iowa, Calhoun and Sac.* WHEN...From 7 PM CDT this evening through Saturday afternoon.* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occurin poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may beflooded. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks andrivers are possible.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- Expected rainfall totals may reach 3 to 7 inches in someareas with locally higher amounts are possible. Rapid risesin creeks, streams and urban flooding will be possible. Fieldflooding and washed out county roads will also be possible.Rainfall rates may approach 2 inches per hour in the heavierstorms.
