Coastal Flood Advisory issued May 15 at 6:06AM EDT until May 15 at 1:00PM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground levelexpected in low lying areas due to tidal flooding.* WHERE...Shoreline in Charles and King George Counties.* WHEN...Until 1 PM EDT this afternoon, especially around thetime of high tide.* IMPACTS...At 3.5 feet, water reaches yards near Cobb Islandand docks near Dahlgren.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two to two and a half feet abovenormal. The next high tide at Goose Bay is at 10:36 AM. The nexthigh tide at Dahlgren is at 9:26 AM.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
