Coastal Flood Advisory issued May 15 at 10:16AM EDT until May 15 at 11:00AM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level inlow lying areas due to tidal flooding.* WHERE...Shoreline in St. Marys County.* WHEN...Until 11 AM EDT this morning, especially around thetime of high tide.* IMPACTS...At 3.0 feet, yards are flooded on Saint GeorgeIsland, and water will begin covering the road leading to theisland, especially if there is wave action.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one and a half to two feet abovenormal. The next high tide at Piney Point is at 9:41 PM. Thenext high tide at Point Lookout is at 8:34 PM. The next hightide at Coltons Point is at 10:17 PM.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
