Coastal Flood Advisory issued May 15 at 4:03AM EDT until May 15 at 11:00AM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground levelexpected in low lying areas due to tidal flooding.* WHERE...Shoreline in St. Marys County.* WHEN...Until 11 AM EDT this morning, especially around thetime of high tide.* IMPACTS...At 3.0 feet, yards are flooded on Saint GeorgeIsland, and water will begin covering the road leading to theisland, especially if there is wave action.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one and a half to two feet abovenormal. The next high tide at Point Lookout is at 8:02 AM. Thenext high tide at Coltons Point is at 9:26 AM. The next hightide at Piney Point is at 8:50 AM.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
