Coastal Flood Advisory issued May 18 at 10:41PM EDT until May 19 at 2:00AM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level inlow lying areas due to tidal flooding.* WHERE...Shoreline in St. Marys County.* WHEN...Until 2 AM EDT Sunday, especially around the time ofhigh tide.* IMPACTS...At 3.0 feet, yards are flooded on Saint GeorgeIsland, and water will begin covering the road leading to theisland, especially if there is wave action.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one and a half to two feet abovenormal. The next high tide at Point Lookout is at 11:17 PM. Thenext high tide at Piney Point is at 12:13 AM. The next high tideat Coltons Point is at 12:49 AM.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
