yellow warning - severe thunderstorm - in effect At 9:27 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain. These severe thunderstorms are located from Spruce Grove to Leduc to Pigeon Lake and are moving toward the northeast at 25 km/h. ### Large hail may cause significant damage and injury. Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
