Heavy Rain Risk Area The moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf while the low-pressure cell covers upper Vietnam. Thundershowers are forecast in Thailand and isolated heavy rains are possible in the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the South(west coast). The moderate wind and waves in the upper Andaman Sea are expected about 2 meters high, 1-2 meters high in the lower Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. People in the areas should beware of thundershowers, heavy rains and its accumulation.
