Flood Watch issued September 25 at 3:50PM CDT until September 27 at 1:00PM CDT by NWS Huntsville AL* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to bepossible.* WHERE...Portions of north central Alabama, including the followingcounties, Cullman, Limestone, Madison and Morgan and southernmiddle Tennessee, including the following counties, Lincoln andMoore.* WHEN...Through Friday afternoon.* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occurin poor drainage and urban areas.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- A Flood Watch has been issued for north east and northcentral Alabama and southern middle Tennessee due toanticipated rainfall from Helene as the tropical system movesinland. 3-5 inches of rain are forecast for area in the FloodWatch with locally higher totals of 6-7 inches possible. Thehighest risk for Flash Flooding will be overnight Thursdayinto Friday morning.
