Flood Watch issued May 17 at 2:15PM CDT until May 18 at 3:00PM CDT by NWS Tallahassee FL* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.* WHERE...Portions of southeast Alabama, including the followingareas, Coffee, Dale, Geneva, Henry and Houston, Panhandle Florida,including the following areas, Holmes, Jackson and North Walton,and southwest Georgia, including the following areas, Baker,Calhoun, Clay, Dougherty, Early, Lee, Miller, Mitchell, Quitman,Randolph, Seminole and Terrell.* WHEN...Through Saturday afternoon.* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-watercrossings may be flooded. Extensive street flooding and floodingof creeks and rivers are possible. Area creeks and streams arerunning high and could flood with more heavy rain.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- The development of training thunderstorms over a stalledeast-west boundary is expected to develop this afternoon, andinto the evening across these areas.
