Flood Watch issued May 20 at 3:36PM AKDT until May 21 at 1:00PM AKDT by NWS Fairbanks AK* WHAT...Flooding caused by an ice jam is possible.* WHERE...The Yukon River downstream of Pilot Station including nearSt Mary's and Pitkas Point.* WHEN...Through Tuesday afternoon.* IMPACTS...Water levels are high at St. Mary's and Pitkas Point. Ifanother ice jam forms, water could rise further and cause floodingin low lying areas.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- The ice jam downstream of Pilot Station released around 3:30pm Sunday afternoon, and the ice started moving at MountainVillage at 4:30 pm Sunday. Water levels at Mountain Villagewent up approximately 5 feet Sunday night. Water levelsremain high at Mountain Village, St Mary's and Pitkas Pointtoday.
