Request to limit driving gas and diesel-powered vehicles is now in effect until at least 4 p.m. Tuesday,June 25, 2024. Hot and stagnant weather conditions are set tocontinue with ozone concentrations possibly reaching the Unhealthyfor Sensitive Groups category both Monday and Tuesday during theafternoons and early evenings. The highest ozone concentrationsare expected to be in and near the Denver metro area.For areasincluded in this advisory that are not expected to reach theUnhealthy for Sensitive Groups (USG) air quality designation, werequest that activities, such as driving non-ZEV vehicles (i.e.,gas or diesel), be reduced to lessen the impacts on neighboringair quality. Additional air pollution in this region may directlyworsen air quality or contribute to precursors which may alsoadversely affect air quality. Wear lightweight and loosefitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morningor evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion andheat stroke.
