Flood Warning issued April 28 at 2:22PM MDT by NWS Pocatello ID...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Idaho...Portneuf River at Pocatello affecting Bannock County.* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding isforecast.* WHERE...Portneuf River at Pocatello.* WHEN...Until further notice.* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Water will encroach onto portions of thebike and walking trail next to the river in Sacajawea Park inPocatello.At 8.5 feet, Sections of Sacajawea Park will be under water andthe trail is usually closed at this level. Marsh Creek near Inkommay also be over its banks.At 9.2 feet, Flooding of low lying agricultural land and pasturewill occur in the Inkom and Blackrock area. Lowland flooding islikely along sections of the river between Portneuf Gap and theCheyenne Avenue Bridge in Pocatello.At 9.4 feet, Water will encroach around sitting benches near theriver at the Pacific Recycling Trailhead.At 10.0 feet, Significant flooding of agricultural land will occurfrom the Inkom and Blackrock area.
