Those living in areas prone to flooding should be preparedto take action should flooding develop.Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. In Southeast Kansas, Chautauqua, Elk,Greenwood, Wilson and Woodson.* WHEN...Until 900 AM CDT Sunday.* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lyingand flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Various roadsremain closed due to flooding mainly rural roads. Streams continueto rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-watercrossings are inundated with water and may not be passable.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 1142 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due tothunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to beginshortly in the warned area. Between 2 and 6 inches of rainhave fallen.- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible inthe warned area.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Wichita, Derby, El Dorado, Arkansas City, Winfield, Andover,Haysville, Augusta, Wellington, Mulvane, Rose Hill, Eureka,Clearwater, Anthony, Douglass, Belle Plaine, Harper, Towanda,Conway Springs and Caldwell.Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades.
