In Southeast Kansas, Chautauqua, Elk, Greenwood, Wilsonand Woodson.* WHEN...Until 900 AM CDT.* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lyingand flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roadsremain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due toexcess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings areinundated with water and may not be passable.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 538 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated that most of the rainhad ended for the time being across the area. However,between 3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen in some areassince Saturday evening.- Flooding impacts will continue, but little additionalrainfall is expected through mid-morning.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...El Dorado, Arkansas City, Winfield, Andover, Augusta, RoseHill, Eureka, Douglass, Towanda, Benton, Udall, Leon,Madison, Howard, Burden, Moline, Toronto, Dexter, Hamiltonand Severy.Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades.
