Flood Advisory issued April 29 at 4:44AM CDT until April 29 at 9:15AM CDT by NWS St Louis MO* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessiverainfall continues.* WHERE...A portion of east central Missouri, including thefollowing county and independent city, Saint Louis and Saint LouisCity.* WHEN...Until 915 AM CDT.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas isoccurring or is imminent.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 435 AM CDT, Rain was ending across the metro area. Most ofthe small stream gauges that recorded minor flooding areshowing falling water levels. With the rain coming to an end,high water on small streams and creeks will be receding.Continue to obey all road closure signs and do not drive intoareas where water covers the roadway. Be especially cautiousof low water crossings.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...St. Louis, St. Charles, Florissant, Chesterfield, Wildwood,University City, Ballwin, Kirkwood, Maryland Heights, EastSt. Louis, Hazelwood, Webster Groves, Ferguson, Arnold,Manchester, Creve Coeur, Overland, Clayton, Cahokia andJennings.Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flooddeaths occur in vehicles.Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize thedangers of flooding.
