Winds gusting as high as 55 mph.* WHERE...Little Belt and Highwood Mountains.* WHEN...Until midnight MDT tonight.* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible and tirechains may be required for some vehicles. Those in the backcountryshould ensure they have appropriate knowledge and gear and maywant to consider alternate plans. Widespread blowing snow willsignificantly reduce visibility. Strong winds could causeextensive damage to trees and power lines.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Visibility will likely be worst betweenSluice Boxes State Park and Monarch Canyon where winds tend to bestrongest.Persons should delay all travel if possible. If travel is absolutelynecessary, drive with extreme caution and be prepared for suddenchanges in visibility.
