Red Flag Warning issued April 27 at 1:59AM MDT until April 27 at 8:00PM MDT by NWS Albuquerque NM...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FOR TODAY BETWEEN NOON AND 8 PM FORTHE NORTHEAST AND EAST CENTRAL PLAINS DUE TO STRONG WINDS, LOWHUMIDITY AND AN UNSTABLE ATMOSPHERE....Critical fire weather conditions return this afternoon andevening for the Northeast and East Central Plans of New Mexico.Strong southwest winds will develop as a storm system crosses theFour Corners region. Additionally, humidity readings will onceagain dip down below 15 percent. Improving conditions are expectedthis evening as a cold front passes lowering temperatures andraising humidity values.The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Red FlagWarning...which is in effect from noon today to 8 PM MDT thisevening.* AREA AND TIMING...This includes the Northeast Plains (Zone 104)this afternoon and evening.* 20 FOOT WINDS...Southwest 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Minimum values between 10 and 15 percent.* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.Outdoor burning is not recommended.Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in thefield of this Red Flag Warning.
