Red Flag Warning issued May 8 at 2:18AM MDT until May 8 at 8:00PM MDT by NWS Albuquerque NM...RED FLAG WARNING TODAY FROM 11 AM TO 8 PM MDT ACROSS EASTERNNM AND UPPER RIO GRANDE VALLEY DUE TO STRONG WINDS, VERY LOWHUMIDITY, AND AN UNSTABLE ATMOSPHERE....Critical conditions are forecast to redevelop Wednesdayafternoon east of the central mountain chain and within the UpperRio Grande Valley. The lowest relative humidity and strongestwinds will focus over the northeast highlands and northeastplains.* AREA AND TIMING...Northeast and East Central Plains (Zones 104and 126) and the Central and Northeast Highlands (Zones 123 and125) from 11 AM until 8 PM.* 20 FOOT WINDS...West and northwest 20 to 35 mph with gusts upto 50 mph, particularly in the central and northeasthighlands.* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Minimum values between 6 and 12 percent.* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.Outdoor burning is not recommended.Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in thefield of this Red Flag Warning.
