Red Flag Warning issued May 7 at 2:01PM MDT until May 7 at 9:00PM MDT by NWS Albuquerque NM...RED FLAG WARNING TODAY UNTIL 9 PM AREAWIDE BELOW SNOWPACK DUETO STRONG WINDS, VERY LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY, AND AN UNSTABLEATMOSPHERE......RED FLAG WARNING WEDNESDAY FROM 11 AM UNTIL 8 PM IN EASTERN NMDUE TO STRONG WINDS, VERY LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY, AND AN UNSTABLEATMOSPHERE....A dangerous and critical fire weather pattern will unfold todayas strong to severe winds, warmer temperatures, very low humidityand unstable conditions combine. All of northern and central NewMexico is expected to observe these critical conditions today,but the strongest winds will be focused over and near the Sangrede Cristo mountains. The lowest humidity will be found in centralto eastern areas of the state where readings of less than10 percent will persist for several hours.Critical conditions are forecast to redevelop tomorrow afternooneast of the central mountain chain.
