Flood Advisory issued May 17 at 6:42PM EDT until May 17 at 8:45PM EDT by NWS Raleigh NC* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.* WHERE...A portion of central North Carolina, including Alamance,Durham, Granville, Orange and Person counties* WHEN...Until 845 PM EDT.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas,including on streets and in urban locations.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 642 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due tothunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to beginshortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 2 inches ofrain have fallen.- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expectedover the area.
