Flood Advisory issued May 31 at 8:26AM CDT until May 31 at 11:30AM CDT by NWS Houston/Galveston TX* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the followingcounties, Brazoria, Galveston and Harris.* WHEN...Until 1130 AM CDT.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 826 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gaugesindicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Overflowing poordrainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisoryarea. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen.- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected overthe area.
