Coastal Flood Advisory issued September 25 at 3:31PM EDT until September 26 at 1:00AM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level inlow lying areas due to tidal flooding.* WHERE...Shoreline in Charles and King George Counties.* WHEN...Until 1 AM EDT Thursday, especially around the time ofhigh tide.* IMPACTS...At 3.5 feet, water reaches yards near Cobb Islandand docks near Dahlgren.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one and a half to two feet abovenormal. The next high tide at Dahlgren is at 10:22 PM and 10:52AM. The next high tide at Goose Bay is at 11:15 PM and 12:07 PM.The next high tide at Indian Head is at 3:09 AM and 4:01 PM.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
