Coastal Flood Advisory issued September 26 at 4:25AM EDT until September 26 at 7:00PM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level inlow lying areas due to tidal flooding.* WHERE...Shoreline in the City of Alexandria and ArlingtonCounty.* WHEN...Until 7 PM EDT this evening, especially around the timeof high tide.* IMPACTS...Water is expected to approach the curb near theintersection of King Street and Strand Street in Alexandria.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one and a half to two feet abovenormal. The next high tide at Alexandria is at 4:33 PM and 4:51AM.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
