Heavy rain may cause temporary street flooding especially in poor drainage areas. Locations impacted include... Columbus, Lumpkin, Buena Vista, Cusseta, Preston, Richland, Waverly Hall, Geneva, North Fort Benning, Fort Benning/Lawson Army Air Fld, Bibb City, Upatoi, Putnam, Brantley, Seminole, Shiloh, Green Island Hills, Juniper, Cataula, and Columbus Metropolitan Airport. People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. If you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
