White River at Elliston. White River at Petersburg. White River at Hazleton. White River at Edwardsport. Wabash River at Vincennes. Wabash River at Riverton. Wabash River at Terre Haute. Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site. Wabash River at Montezuma. Wabash River at Mount Carmel. East Fork White River at Seymour. .Heavy rainfall has brought minor lowland flooding to much of the Wabash River, the lower White River, and the East Fork White at Seymour. The crest on the Wabash is near Riverton. The crest on the White is approaching Centerton, and on the East Fork white is approaching Seymour. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wabash River at Montezuma. * WHEN...Until tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Several hundred acres of bottomlands along the right bank from the mouth of Sugar Creek to northern edge of Montezuma begin to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:45 AM EDT Monday the stage was 14.2 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 11:45 AM EDT Monday was 16.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage this evening and continue falling and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
