Flood Watch issued June 26 at 1:17PM CDT until June 27 at 7:00AM CDT by NWS Louisville KY * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following areas, Clark IN, Crawford, Dubois, Floyd, Harrison IN, Jefferson IN, Orange, Perry, Scott IN and Washington IN and Kentucky, including the following areas, Anderson, Bourbon, Clark KY, Fayette, Franklin, Harrison KY, Henry, Jefferson, Nicholas, Oldham, Scott KY, Shelby, Spencer, Trimble and Woodford. * WHEN...Through Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flood Advisory issued June 26 at 11:11AM EDT until June 26 at 3:15PM EDT by NWS Louisville KY * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central Kentucky, including the following counties, Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby and Spencer. * WHEN...Until 315 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1111 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.1 to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Louisville, Jeffersontown, St. Matthews, Shelbyville, Lyndon, Middletown, Douglass Hills, Prospect, Hurstbourne and Graymoor-Devondale. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
