Flood Advisory issued June 22 at 2:57AM EDT until June 22 at 6:00AM EDT by NWS Louisville KY * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central Kentucky, including the following counties, Anderson, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Nelson, Spencer, Washington and Woodford. * WHEN...Until 600 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 256 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Lexington, Richmond, Nicholasville, Bardstown, Harrodsburg, Ballard, Wilmore, Burgin, Bloomfield and Willisburg. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
