Mild overnight temperatures will also not allow for much reprieve from the hot and humid conditions. * WHERE...Portions of south central Indiana and east central, north central, northwest, and south central Kentucky. * WHEN...Until 9 PM EDT /8 PM CDT/ Friday. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

Green River at Woodbury affecting Butler and Warren Counties. .Heavy rain from the past weekend has caused the river to rise. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Green River at Woodbury. * WHEN...From Wednesday evening to early Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, KY 403 at James McKinney Bridge floods. Water overflows lock wall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 25.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 24.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 26.0 feet tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 26.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 26.6 feet on 03/11/2019. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
