CLAIR WASHTENAW WAYNE THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ADRIAN, ALMONT, ANN ARBOR, BRIGHTON, CANTON, DEARBORN, DURAND, FERNDALE, FLINT, FOWLERVILLE, HOWELL, IMLAY CITY, LAMBERTVILLE, LAPEER, LINCOLN PARK, LIVONIA, MARYSVILLE, MONROE, NOVI, OWOSSO, PONTIAC, PORT HURON, REDFORD, ROYAL OAK, SOUTHFIELD, ST. Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued July 3 at 6:53PM EDT until July 3 at 7:15PM EDT by NWS Detroit/Pontiac MI At 653 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Lapeer to near Dryden to near Romeo to near St. Clair Shores, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. These severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly rural areas of eastern Oakland County, including the following locations... Rochester Hills, Madison Heights, Lakeville, Clawson, Berkley, Oak Park, Hazel Park, Lake Orion, Lathrup Village, and Auburn Hills. People attending Royal Oak Taco Fest , and Clawson 4th of July Celebration should seek safe shelter immediately! For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
