Extreme Heat Warning issued July 14 at 3:26AM MDT until July 16 at 12:00AM MDT by NWS Billings MT * WHAT...Very hot daytime temperatures combined with warm overnight lows will produce cumulative heat stress. * WHERE...Portions of southeast Montana and north central Wyoming. * WHEN...Until midnight MDT Wednesday Night. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...It will be very hot today and Wednesday with high temperatures of 98 to 105. Very warm nighttime temps will provide only limited relief. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, plan outdoor activities during the early morning and late evening hours, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
