Flood Advisory issued June 7 at 8:04PM CDT until June 7 at 11:00PM CDT by NWS Omaha/Valley NE * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Northwestern Cuming County in northeastern Nebraska... Southeastern Wayne County in northeastern Nebraska... * WHEN...Until 1100 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 758 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported heavy rain is leading to flooding in portions of northwestern Cuming County, including near the intersections of 4.5 Road and W, and 6th and X. Minor flooding is already occurring. Between 3 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Plum Creek, Rattlesnake Creek, Kane Creek, Logan Creek Dredge, Sand Creek, Dry Creek, Coon Creek and Elkhorn River. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Mainly rural areas of Northwestern Cuming and Southeastern Wayne Counties. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
