Dickey County in southeastern North Dakota... LaMoure County in southeastern North Dakota... * Until midnight CDT. * At 1057 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles northeast of Edgeley, or 29 miles north of Ellendale, moving southeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Ellendale, Oakes, Lamoure, Edgeley, Kulm, Marion, La Moure, Adrian, Verona, Fullerton, Forbes, Dickey, Ludden, La Moure City, Merricourt City, Grand Rapids, Monango, Berlin, Merricourt and Glover. Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large hail.

High temperatures will range from around 92 to 102 Saturday, 97 to 107 on Sunday, and 95 to 105 on Monday. * WHERE...All of western and central North Dakota including the James River Valley. * WHEN...From Saturday afternoon through late Monday night. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Overnight low temperatures will only drop to around 70 degrees, providing little relief from the heat.
