East Central Osage County in northeastern Oklahoma... * Until 645 AM CDT. * At 338 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Skiatook... Barnsdall... Wynona... Avant... Pershing... Wolco... This includes the following streams and drainages... Birch Creek, Cedar Creek, Twomile Creek, Sycamore Creek, Skalall Creek, Sunset Creek, Quapaw Creek, Bitter Creek, Gray Horse Creek, Bug Creek, Mahala Creek, Baconrind Creek, Rainbow Creek, Bull Creek, Red Eagle Branch, Clem Creek, Clear Creek, Little Hominy Creek, Sand Creek, West Prong Quapaw Creek, Nicicola Creek, Hominy Creek, Bird Creek, Fourmile Creek, Candy Creek, Dog Thresher Creek and Choteau Creek. In northeast Oklahoma, Adair, Craig, Creek, Delaware, Mayes, Northeast Osage, Nowata, Okmulgee, Ottawa, Pawnee, Rogers, Southeast Osage, Tulsa, Wagoner, Washington OK and Western Osage. In southeast Oklahoma, Central Le Flore, Haskell, Latimer, McIntosh, Northern Le Flore, Pittsburg and Southern Le Flore. * WHEN...Through Friday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Additional widespread thunderstorm development is probable overnight Wednesday night and through the daytime Thursday.
