East Central Medina County in south central Texas... * Until 600 AM CDT. * At 204 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... San Antonio, Castroville, Stinson Municipal Airport, San Antonio Int Airport, Leon Valley, Helotes, Alamo Heights, Terrell Hills, Shavano Park, Hollywood Park, Olmos Park, Lacoste, Sea World, Lackland AFB, Government Canyon State Natural Area, Cliff, Rio Medina, Bader, Castle Hills and Balcones Heights. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
