In south central Texas, Milam and Robertson. * WHEN...Through this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Slow moving thunderstorms may result in rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches in a short period of time. West Central Bell County in central Texas... Southwestern Coryell County in central Texas... * Until 345 PM CDT. * At 1247 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Killeen, Copperas Cove, Harker Heights, Fort Hood, Nolanville, Evant, Stillhouse Hollow Lake, Pidcoke, Topsey, King, Pearl, South Purmela and Bee House. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Killeen, Harker Heights, Fort Hood, Nolanville, Salado, Holland, Stillhouse Hollow Lake, Sparks, Ding Dong, Maxdale, Youngsport, Cedar Valley and Prairie Dell.
