Red Flag Warning issued July 7 at 9:56PM PDT until July 8 at 10:00PM PDT by NWS Spokane WA ...HOT, DRY, AND BREEZY CONDITIONS ACROSS CENTRAL WASHINGTON TUESDAY THEN CENTRAL AND EASTERN WASHINGTON WEDNESDAY... . A dry cold front is nearing the WA Coast and will pass through the area overnight into Wednesday. Northwesterly winds are increasing across Central Washington between Wenatchee and Moses Lake. Winds will remain breezy overnight with fair to poor humidity recoveries. Gusty west to southwest winds will expand across Eastern Washington on Wednesday. Temperatures on Wednesday will be in the upper 80s to low 90s. * Affected Area: Methow Valley (Zone 704). * Winds: Northwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. * Relative Humidities: 17 to 24 percent. * Impacts: Rapid fire spread is likely with any new or ongoing fires. A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
