Red Flag Warning issued July 8 at 11:15AM PDT until July 8 at 10:00PM PDT by NWS Spokane WA * Affected Area: Foothills of Northeast Washington (Zone 701), Colville Reservation (Zone 702), Eastern Columbia Basin - Palouse -Spokane Area (Zone 708) and Lower Palouse -Snake River (Zone 709). * Winds: West to southwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. * Relative Humidities: 13 to 22 percent. * Impacts: Rapid fire spread is likely with any new or ongoing fires. A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
