Severe Thunderstorm Watch issued June 10 at 12:50PM CDT until June 10 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Duluth MN SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 301 REMAINS VALID UNTIL 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN WISCONSIN THIS WATCH INCLUDES 8 COUNTIES IN NORTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN PRICE IN NORTHWEST WISCONSIN ASHLAND BAYFIELD BURNETT DOUGLAS IRON SAWYER WASHBURN THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ASHLAND, BAYFIELD, GRANTSBURG, HAYWARD, HURLEY, PHILLIPS, SHELL LAKE, SPOONER, SUPERIOR, AND WASHBURN. THIS ALSO INCLUDES THE TRIBAL LANDS OF THE LAC COURTE OREILLES RESERVATION, THE ST. CROIX BAND IN BURNETT COUNTY, THE BAD RIVER RESERVATION, THE RED CLIFF BAND AND THE NORTHWESTERN AREA OF THE LAC DU FLAMBEAU BAND.

Lake Superior west of a line from Saxon Harbor WI to Grand Portage MN beyond 5NM... Oak Point to Saxon Harbor WI... Outer Apostle Islands Beyond 5 NM from Mainland... Sand Island to Bayfield WI... At 535 PM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Ashland Breakwater Lighthouse to 21 nm east of Madeline Island, moving northeast at 15 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Locations impacted include... Ashland Breakwater Lighthouse, Chequamegon Bay, Marble Point, Hermit Island, Oak Point, Saxon Harbor, Stockton Island, Madeline Island, La Pointe, Michigan Island, Basswood Island, and Apostle Islands National Lake Shore. Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are expected.
